Beta Club
Grades: 4 & 5
Mission/Purpose: To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. To reward meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school.
Meeting Dates/Times: Every other Tuesday, 7:30AM-8:15AM
Process for Joining: The Beta Club Advisor and Administration look at state/district assessment data, student grades and teacher recommendations to choose which students would be invited.

Broadcast Team
Broadcast Team
Grades: 5
Mission/Purpose: These students conduct the morning show by operating all of the technical equipment, ensuring accuracy in reporting, welcoming in-studio guests and talent, and handling breaking news.
Meeting Dates/Times: Monday-Friday, 8:45AM-9:00AM
Process for Joining: The broadcast team is comprised of a staff of 10 highly recommended 5th graders. The students indicated interest in this club in the spring of their 4th grade year. They received recommendations from their teachers and completed an audition process.

Chorus Club
Chorus Club
Grades: 4 & 5
Mission/Purpose: In chorus, students will work to improve their singing skills and learn how to sing in a group.
Meeting Dates/Times: weekly rehearsals on Thursdays (7:30am-8:20am) from August until December7th; 1 concert in December.
Process for Joining: All students in grades 4 & 5 will be given an application link. All students who fill out the application will be accepted.

Cooking Club: Hungry Rams
Grades: 2
Mission/Purpose: A fun and interactive cooking club where kids develop cooking stills and confidence in the kitchen.
Meeting Dates/Times: October 30th, November 13th, November 20th, December 4th, & December 18th from 3:30PM- 5:15PM
Process for Joining:12 spots available, Parents can register them at mypaymentplus.com. The cost is $25.00, which will cover all the delicious food and treats our Rams will be making.

Mission/Purpose: Our junior library associates are responsible for retrieving books for check in, organizing books as needed, and performing multiple quality assurance functions in the media center.

Multicultural Club
Multicultural Club

Mission/Purpose: The mission of the Multicultural Club is to promote inclusivity through promoting open-mindedness and acceptance of students of different cultures and backgrounds.
Meeting Dates/Times: Every other Thursday (3:45PM-5PM) starting Sept. 12 - May 8, 2025
Process for Joining: The first 35 students who turn in applications will be accepted.

Mission/Purpose: In Ram Readers we focus on fostering a love of reading, developing effective leadership and communication skills, and enriching student knowledge of literary genres.
Meeting Dates/Times: Every Wednesday (3:45PM-4:30PM) from September 6, 2023 to March 5, 2024
Process for Joining: Students interested in joining will try out at the end of the current year, to be in the club next year. We can accept 10 students.

Rambotics
Rambotics
Grades: 4 & 5
Mission/Purpose: Rambotics is a team that competes in the First Lego League (FLL) Challenge competition. The FLL program inspires young people to experiment and develop their confidence, critical thinking, and design skills through hands-on learning.
Meeting Dates/Times: Every Tuesday (7:25AM-8:20AM) from August 23rd to December 6th.
Process for Joining: We invite all rising 4th and 5th grade students to apply in the Spring and choose the team based on applications and teacher recommendations. There is no fee to be on the team. However, we do purchase t-shirts to wear to the tournaments. T-shirts cost approximately $20.

Safety Patrols/Student Council
Safety Patrol & Student Council
Grades: 4 & 5
Mission/Purpose: The purpose of the Student Council & Safety Patrol is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects.
The Student Council is organized very much like the faculty/staff PAC Council. Each member of the Student Council represents his/her classroom along with another classroom in grades 4-5. Decisions are made through consensus.
Process for Joining: There are no elected positions in the Student Council. One representative is appointed by the teachers and one representative is elected by his/her peers. Elected representatives must apply to be on the Student Council. Applications will be available in late August.
